In so many different ways, we have given much to the world, and I am personally delighted to be part of the Tartan Week events that showcase the best of contemporary Scotland. I hope to see it grow from strength to strength in the coming years so that our families and friends can see April 6th as a great day for Scotland in the global community.

Declare your allegiance to Scotland
Tartan Day is already celebrated in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Our vision is to see Scotland at the heart of a global Tartan Day celebration, bringing Scotland's creativity, innovation, heritage and business success to the attention of the world.
If you would like to see Scotland celebrated all over the world on April 6, this is your chance to declare your allegiance to Tartan Day and to Scotland.
Tartan Day Declare Allegiance
I pledge my support to promote an annual celebration of the historical enactment of the Arbroath Declaration made on 6 April 1320, to renew the historical, cultural, trading and other links between Scotland and the rest of the world with particular attention being paid to countries where the Scottish Diaspora is greatest and to encourage individual and international friendship and goodwill through Tartan Day celebrations both in Scotland and worldwide.
