In so many different ways, we have given much to the world, and I am personally delighted to be part of the Tartan Week events that showcase the best of contemporary Scotland. I hope to see it grow from strength to strength in the coming years so that our families and friends can see April 6th as a great day for Scotland in the global community.

Comment: I am extremely proud of my Scottish heritage, even being a Campbell! I marched in the huge Tartan Day parade several years ago where when there wer over 7,000 pipes and drums. I've been to Scotland 3 times and in my opinion, it is the most beautiful place on earth. Alba go braugh!

Comment: I've always been proud of my strong Scottish bloodline. I represent Clan Cameron in my state for both my Chapter and N. America. I'm honored to have an opportunity to be able to spread the knowlegde of what great acheivements Scotland's sons and daughters have contributed not only for Scotland itself but the world. April 6th 1320, once enlightened to the meaning of said date you can't be anything but awestruck at the momentous acheivement of the Declaration of Arbroath. I believe it was historian Ted Cowan that said not only was it one of the earliest manifestations of nationalism it is also one of the earliest manifestations of constitutionalism. I know our Declaration of Independence got some inspiration from it. Well all I'm really trying to say is WEAR YOUR KILT WITH PRIDE LADS !!! UP THE SCOTS!!! THE BLOOD IS STRONG THE HEART IS HIGHLAND!!! www.tartanday.org/ Yours Aye,

Comment: As a proud wearer of the Breton National Tartan, as a breton patriot, struggling every day to make breton culture, history, language and right to self-government recognized by France (self declared "home of human rights"), I stand beside my fellow scottish patriots to celebrate Arbroath declaration.
