Scotland's Tartan Day International Golf Challenge 2008
Saturday 5 April – Saturday 12 April
Experience the thrill and excitement of competing in an international golf tournament in the game's historic heartland by taking part in the 2008 Scotland's Tartan Day Golf Challenge – four rounds of golf over four of the best courses in the world.
Each round of Scotland's Tartan Day Golf Challenge takes place over a different course – Montrose Golf Links, arguably one of the world's finest links courses; the famous King's Course at Gleneagles; and two Open championship venues, Carnoustie Championship and the Old Course at St Andrews.
As well as giving you the opportunity to test your golfing skills on the pick of Scotland's golf courses, competitors in Scotland's Tartan Day Golf Challenge, and their non-golfing partners, will also be taken on a journey of all that is Scottish. Enjoy a grand dinner in Glamis Castle's regal apartments, attend the spectacular 'beat the retreat ceremony' with traditional pipe bands, sample the finest malt whiskies, walk in the footsteps of Scotland's kings and queens during our visit to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city, and its imposing castle… By the end of the week, you'll feel like a true Scot!
