Commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath

Step back in time and join the procession from Marketgate to Arbroath Abbey on Sunday, April 6. Pipe bands from Arbroath, Brechin and Forfar will lead Robert the Bruce and his nobles to the Abbey to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath.

The costumed re-enactment of the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath takes place beneath the red sandstone walls of Arbroath Abbey and visitors can attend the event for free.
